The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbide in the heat affected zone near the weld seam, which can lead to intergranular corrosion (weld erosion) in some environments. ASTM 309S stainless steel plate can withstand repeated heating below 980 ℃, with high temperature strength and oxidation resistance, resistance to carburization properties. ASTM 309S stainless steel plate is widely used in energy, heating furnace, chemical, petrochemical and other important fields.
